'There is' और 'There are' का प्रयोग

अंग्रेजी में किसी व्यक्ति, वस्तु या स्थान की मौजूदगी (presence) या अस्तित्व (existence) बताने के लिए 'There is' और 'There are' का उपयोग किया जाता है। हिंदी में हम अक्सर कहते हैं "वहाँ एक किताब है" या "कमरे में दो कुर्सियाँ हैं"। ऐसे वाक्यों को अंग्रेजी में बनाने के लिए हम 'There' से वाक्य की शुरुआत करते हैं।

📍 'There is' का उपयोग

जब हम किसी एक वस्तु, व्यक्ति या स्थान (Singular Noun) के बारे में बात करते हैं, तो 'There is' का प्रयोग होता है। इसके अलावा, जिन्हें गिना नहीं जा सकता (Uncountable Nouns), उनके साथ भी 'There is' का उपयोग होता है।
